Don became a licensed real estate agent in 1998 after having recognized a passion for all aspects of real estate– the property, the details, the negotiations and most of all, the people. Having renovated and rehabilitated more than two dozen properties across the Savannah area over the years, Don’s passion for architecture and real estate continues to grow.
In December of 2006, Don joined Keller Williams Realty and became a partner in the Realty Savannah Downtown office soon thereafter. This career move aligned him with one of the fastest growing real estate companies in the nation and set him on a path for success.
Laura Hyatt joined Don in December of 2007 as Executive Assistant and the two began to create the foundation of what would one day become the Don Callahan Real Estate Group. The pivotal moment came in the fall of 2011 when Don made the decision to join MAPS Coaching and run his business like a business. KW MAPS Coaching offers award-winning programs designed for real estate professionals and business leaders committed to transforming their businesses and lives through education and coaching. With the tools, systems, and coaching in place, Don’s production doubled in just four years!
With the increased growth both in production and with team players, Don and Laura opened the doors to their KW Mega Agent Office at 3107 Waters Avenue in Savannah, GA on April 2nd, 2014. This desirable location in the heart of Ardsley Park and adjacent to Daffin Park, provides the team with a central hub right in the middle of Savannah. From decorating the windows for different holidays to trick-or-treating with the neighborhood kids to coordinating a community food drive, this location is nothing but ideal for the culture Don has created within the team.
