Nestled just north of Victory Drive along Skidaway Road is the quaint community of Victory Heights. We often refer to this neighborhood as one of Savannah’s hidden gems. Here you’ll find quiet dead end streets lined with darling post war bungalows. Perhaps the anchor of this area being the large neighborhood park featuring a playground, splash pad, open play area, and a gazebo. The park is home to neighborhood cookouts, birthday parties, and enjoying the Savannah weather.
Most of the homes in the area were built in the late 1940s through early 1950s. With modest home sizes, around 1,000 square feet, Victory Heights is a rather affordable neighborhood, often catching the eye of first time home buyers or those looking for affordability.
Additionally, Victory Heights is surprisingly convenient to all that Savannah has to offer. Starbucks, Home Depot, Target, and Whole Foods are less than a mile away. You’ll also enjoy easy access to the Truman Parkway, Downtown Savannah, and a quick hop skip and a jump down Victory Drive to the beach on Tybee.
