Windsor Forest is nestled on Savannah’s Southside. Here you’ll find a rather large community filled with homes built from the 1950’s to 1970’s that range from the classic ranch to the abundant sprinkling of Mid-Century Modern homes. (Although more modest in scale than those found in other communities within Savannah). Windsor Forest has seen a bit of an ebb and flow in popularity over the years, but is currently experiencing a bit of a resurgence. With the completion of the Truman Parkway, Windsor Forest is now easily accessible to all parts of Savannah.

Windsor Forest is one the few places in town that you’ll find those lovely MCM (mid-century modern) homes that, for the most part, are still untouched. Just driving along Windsor Road (the main drag) you’ll seen numerous homes with the classic long, low lines and asymmetrical facades. Value is the second reason many like this neighborhood. On average you’ll find homes ranging from $175,000 – $225,000. And there’s usually some room left for making your own improvements and upgrades without out-pricing yourself from the market.
