Christmas on the River
(December 9th – 12th) Celebrate the holidays along Savannah’s Waterfront during Christmas on the River. This three-day festival takes place from Friday, December 9 through Sunday, December 11, 2022 and will feature live performances, merry melodies and holiday cheer.
Savannah Christmas Market at Plant Riverside
(November 25th – January 1st) The 2022 Savannah Christmas Market at Plant Riverside District will offer a wide range of holiday-themed events as well as a dazzling European-style outdoor holiday market, live performances, tree lighting ceremony, children’s activities, gingerbread house, photos with Santa and more. Holiday Tree Lighting
(November 25th at 5:30pm) Come downtown for a festive tree lighting ceremony with guest celebrities and local bands to kickoff the holidays in Savannah.
“A Christmas Tradition” at the Savannah Theater
(December 1st – 24th) In its 20th consecutive year, “A Christmas Tradition” brings you holiday glitz and glitter with a 2-hour production. The theatre is transformed into a perfect holiday picture, sharing all of your Christmas favorites. See the full schedule and buy tickets HERE.
Tybee Christmas Parade
(December 2nd) Join us on Tybee Island as we ring in the holidays with a lighted, nighttime Christmas parade. Santa arrives in town led by a parade of lights down to the beach.
Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run
(December 3rd) Experience what runners call “The South’s Toughest Bridge Run!” Face the challenge by running once, twice, or three times over Savannah’s historic bridge to conquer the Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run. Learn more and sign up HERE
December Nights & Holiday Lights
(November 25th – December 24th) This year Holiday Lights is bigger than ever and spans nearly five acres. Visitors will be greeted by a winter wonderland and a life-size Advent calendar. New garden areas have been added to the light display. Dates, times, and ticket info HERE.
