1. 🔱 Savannah Greek Fest, October 11-13 2018
With 68 years of tradition and good memories to build on, this event will be better than last year’s. The annual festival will feature homemade Greek foods, Greek desserts, Greek dancing, Greek music, church tours, market place, and so much more during the three-day celebration of Greek food, music and heritage. Hosted in the St. Paul’s Hellenic Center, our three day festival attracts thousands of visitors each year. These visitors come to enjoy the food, shopping, music, dancing and atmosphere of the Greek culture. Admission of $2 is requested but not required.
2. 🔬 Skidaway Marine Science Day, October 13 2018
Enjoy an afternoon of activities, tours and talks, from noon to 4 p.m. at the UGA Aquarium. Admission is FREE! Behind-the-scenes peeks of the aquarium, fish feedings and microscope investigations. A touch tank exhibit will allow guests of all ages to get up close and personal with common coastal invertebrates such as spider crabs, whelks and horseshoe crabs.
3. 🥡 Savannah Food Truck Festival, October 14 2018
Who doesn’t enjoy a day in the park full of food trucks? Bring an appetite, picnic blanket and enjoy Daffin Park! Live music, Yoga in the park, craft vendors and beer/wine for purchase! Admission is free.
4. 🦐 Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival, October 19-21 2018
Foodies will delight in the wide variety of delicious food including some of the most tasty seafood found anywhere in Coastal Georgia. The festival features continuous entertainment on two stages with local and national entertainment. Thrill-seekers will enjoy the carnival midway and shoppers will enjoy perusing the hand-made arts and crafts and business booths.
5. 🖼️ Isle of Hope Art and Music Fest, October 20 2018
Tranquil waterfront setting at the Isle of Hope Marina, live music, artists, vendors and food trucks – what more could you ask for? The Isle of Hope Art & Music Fest is presented by the Isle of Hope Historical Association. The event is entirely funded by corporate and individual sponsorships to make it a completely free event to all attendees.
6. 🏳️🌈 Savannah Pride, October 25-27 2018
The Savannah PRIDE Festival is celebrating its 19th year. Savannah PRIDE Festival in the Ellis Square area is FREE to all of the general public to enjoy. The Downtown Takeover bar crawl is $5, which includes discounts on food and drinks at locations all around the festival.
7. 👻 Wormsloe’s Colonial Haunted Trail Tour, October 26-27 2018
A ranger will guide you into the past to site of colonist Nobel Jones. Keep close together as you explore the trail and hopefully you will be safe from the zombies, ghosts and ghouls drifting under the looming oak tree and Spanish moss. Who knows what ghouls have been disturbed!
8. 🍂 Autumn Gardenfest, October 26-27 2018
Take a stroll through the gardens and enjoy lectures on nature and gardening, crafty kids activities and a multi-vendor field of garden-related items await you. This two-day event typically requires a vehicle parking fee. There is no per-person admission during Autumn Gardenfest, allowing you free access into the Gardens to see fall-flowering jewels!
9. 🏎️ Savannah Speed Classic, October 26-28 2018
The Savannah Speed Classic features series races, enduros and in-seat experiences with hot lap rides and touring laps. Pit access is available to anyone with a Savannah Speed Classic ticket. The Savannah Speed Classic is a great destination for drivers, crew, family, friends and spectators alike. A number of Hilton Head Island/Bluffton and Savannah area trucks will be on-site during the races offering a variety of cuisine and Lowcountry favorites. General Admission: $8 to $175.
10. 🎃 A Nightmare on Congress Street Halloween Bar Crawl, October 27 2018
Savannah’s creepiest and scariest bar crawl along Savannah’s eeriest strip. This is also SAVANNAH’S LARGEST COSTUME CONTEST! Total purse of $2000. As opposed to a typical “bar crawl” where participants travel as one big group with designated time slots at each bar, this event allows participants to “crawl” at their own pace.” Along with some free giveaways, crawlers will quench their thirst on drink specials at each participating bar as they creep down chilling and haunted Congress Street. Register to become part of the Savannah’s most fun and creepiest party!
11. 📽️ Savannah Film Festival, October 27-November 3 2018
The Savannah College of Art and Design presents the annual festival, filled with cinematic creativity from both award-winning professionals and emerging student filmmakers. Each year more than 50,000 people attend the eight-day SCAD Savannah Film Festival. The festival is host to a wide variety of competition film screenings, special screenings, workshops, panels and lectures. You might just see a few celebrities!
12. 🕎 Shalom Y’all Jewish Food Festival, October 28 2018
Music, food, fun and vendors! Just close your eyes and remember the wonderful aroma of latkes frying; hot dogs cooking; hot corned
beef, pastrami and tongue steaming; brisket, stuffed cabbage, and cholent warming; and Sephardic Lamb sizzling as it goes into a pita.
13. 🧛 Vampire Ball, October 13 2018
Join your fellow creatures of the night as it’ll be time to ascend into Georgia’s oldest city for a night like no other. Grab your capes, sharpen your fangs, dust off your boots and come quench your celebratory appetite as Markster Con’s VAMPIRE BALL (21+) overtakes Ghost Coast Distillery for one evening only (9pm-2am).
