We love to support local restaurants here in Savannah! With COVID reigning life these days, most people are choosing pickup or delivery options from their favorite restaurants or opting for outdoor dining. Here’s our roundup of our favorite Savannah restaurants who offer outdoor dining!
Starland Yard
Starland Yard is the local food truck park right in the heart of the Thomas Square / Starland neighborhood. With an outdoor bar, several TV’s to watch the game, and a multitude of picnic tables, you’ll have plenty of room to roam while enjoying the ever-changing variety of food trucks that stop by the yard.
5 Spot
5 Spot in Habersham Village totally flexed when COVID hit. They now have a semi-permanent tent set up in what used to be the front parking area. And it’s actually pretty nice!
Wyld Dock Bar
Literally a dock, the Wyld has a TON of outdoor and patio seating right on the water! And be sure to check out the fried okra or watermelon salad.
Tubby’s in Thunderbolt
Ready for some laid back outdoor vibes on a Saturday? And a good chance of live music? Tubby’s is your go-to. Located just on the other side of the Intracoastal Waterway, Tubby’s is a Savannah institution.
Rocks on the Roof
Hello beautiful views of the Savannah River, sunset, and the Talmadge Bridge! Rocks on the Roof is the rooftop bar at The Bohemian Hotel on River Street. It’s the perfect spot for tourists and locals alike.
B&D Burgers – Downtown
Enjoy the classic burgers that B&D is known for while also experiencing their massive outdoor patio at the Downtown location on Congress Street. And the best part is you’re right in City Market. During football season they will ALWAYS have the game playing too!
Bull Street Taco
One of our favorite places around here, Bull Street Taco is known for it’s DELICIOUS tacos. The outdoor patio, in our opinion, is actually way better than it’s smaller interior dining room.
Tacos + Tequila
Speaking of tacos … Tacos + Tequila on Habersham Street in Thomas Square has a HUGE outdoor bar and patio area. (PS – this is where the locals go!) Enjoy a taco, a margarita, and the happening lifestyle of the Habersham corridor.
