If you’ve been to Pooler recently, you know that the Tanger Outlets Savannah is THE place to be for all of your shopping needs (and wants!).  Tanger Outlets Savannah features many well-known retailers such as the Coach, Nike Factory Store and Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store and many more loved stores.  For those who’d rather eat than shop, there’s the 1950s-style hamburger restaurant Johnny Rockets. Those with a taste for the sweet or salty can go to the Great American Cookies. Local offerings include Savannah-based Salt Table, The Peanut Shop, Ms. Polly’s Cake Giants (try the Key Lime Cake) and Savannah’s Candy Kitchen (Pralines, anyone?).
The newest additions to the Tanger Outlets Savannah include Forever 21, a favorite among young women for the latest fads in clothes, accessories & shoes and H&M a Swedish company. While most H&M goods are more reasonably priced than J. Crew or Gap, they bring on celebrities like David Beckham and collaborate with high-end designers including, Karl Lagerfeld of Chanel, Versace and most recently Alexander Wang, which promotes glitz and glamour but at cheaper prices available to the masses.
Centrally located, the mega outdoor shopping mall  is an easy jaunt on I-95, located at 200 Tanger Outlet Boulevard in Pooler, Georgia.

Tanger Factory Outlet Centers and Ben Carter Enterprises announced Tuesday that Tanger Outlets Savannah will celebrate the center’s grand opening on April 16 with a 10 a.m. ribbon cutting hosted by HGTV’s Property Brothers, Jonathan and Drew Scott.
Activities will include styling sessions with a People StyleWatch fashion editor, a design workshop with The Property Brothers and an Instagram Tech Lounge.
“We take pride in the shopping experience we provide our customers, and our goal during this grand opening weekend in Savannah is to showcase our unique TangerSTYLE and generate additional excitement around this new retail destination,†said Steven B. Tanger, president and CEO of Tanger Factory Outlets.
Ben Carter, founder and chairman of Ben Carter Enterprises, said he expects the 176-acre outlet mall to “become the dominant retail destination for customers in the greater Savannah area and its many visitors.â€
They say it’s “Cooler in Pooler” The new Tanger outlet mall coming to Pooler GA is sure to boost traffic from tourists and locals alike, bringing more economic benefits to the already booming town. Pooler, Georgia is red hot. The restaurant scene in this small but growing suburb of Savannah is exploding with mostly new, mostly chain restaurants in the Godley Station area which lies between I-95 and US-80 on Pooler Parkway.  Not to mention the Savannah GA real estate market. With many new shops, restaurants, businesses, and entertainment venues, we are sure to see a continued influx of population in the Pooler and Savannah area.
The Tanger outlet mall is currently under construction. The target opening date for the new outlet mall in Pooler GA is scheduled for April 16, 2015 at 10:00 am.  This 400,000 square foot mega center will house about 90 upscale brand name retailers. The Tanger Outlets are expected to contribute $10 million in tax revenue and over 900 full and part time jobs.  This is going to be a great addition to an already fast developing area. The Tanger outlets are conveniently located off of I-95 and The Pooler Parkway in an already bustling area that has recently added restaurant classics such as Olive Garden, Logan’s Steakhouse, Ruby Tuesday, Wild Wing Cafe, Mellow Mushroom and World of Beer. That area also includes popular retailers such as TJ Maxx, Kay Jewelers, Kirkland’s, Michael’s, Walmart, Home Depot, Rack Room Shoes and many more.
