One of the best things about living in the Parkside community of Savannah, GA is it’s proximity to so many fantastic restaurants; many of them locally owned. While there aren’t any restaurants in the neighborhood itself, these are just a quick drive or bike ride away.

Starland Yard

Whether you’re stopping by for a drink with friends after work or heading over to watch the game on a Saturday afternoon, there’s no doubt that Starland Yard is a local favorite. With an open air environment and a regular rotation of local food trucks there’s always something new/different happening here. And you’ll probably run into someone you know.

With a kid friendly area with fun games like giant jenga or corn hole and plenty of water bowls for our four-legged friends, Starland has something for everyone.

PS – While you’re in the Starland / Thomas Square area also check out The Vault, Big Bon Bodega, and Bull Street Taco.

5 Spot Midtown

The 5 Spot’s tag line is “neighborhood kitchen & bar” and well, it’s just that. Anyone and everyone will always find something they like on the menu at 5 Spot. Plus it’s easy to get to and has plenty of parking since it’s in the Habersham Village shopping center. Recently, they opened a large outdoor dining section offering more seating.

PS – sometimes we call it our “satellite office” because we’re there so much.

Ardsley Station

Newer to the Savannah restaurant scene is Ardsley Station. This is quickly becoming the go-to place for locals. With an elegant dining room and casual upscale outdoor seating area, ambiance is everywhere. Oh, and the food is amazing. If you’re stopping by for dinner, it’s probably best to have a reservation. And if you want a recommendation, get the bolongnese. You’ll thank us later.

Tubby’s Thunderbolt

Want a slower pace, island life vibes, and perhaps a glimpse of the Intracoastal Waterway? Then head over to Tubby’s in Thunderbolt. Here you’ll find all the typical local seafood fare, a fully stocked bar, and live music most weekends. One of our favorite things to do is go for brunch on Sunday’s. #hellochill
