The Landmark Historic District
Savannah’s Landmark Historic District was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1966 and is one of the largest historic districts in the country. When you think quintessential historic Savannah, you’re thinking Landmark District. Here you’ll find cobble-stone streets, all of Savannah’s Squares, live oak trees dripping with Spanish moss, and just about every historic home you can think of.
The Olde Pink House
A classic for a reason. This is a go-to place for southern cuisine and a sophisticated, yet casual atmosphere. Patrons can dine on the main floor of the preserved colonial mansion, or in the cellar, which hosts the extensive bar.
The Collins Quarter
An Aussie experience in the heart of downtown Savannah! The Collins Quarter is inspired by the cafés and restaurants of Collins Street in Melbourne, AU and provides a fresh and modern atmosphere. They recently opened their Forsyth location in the heart of Savannah’s most famous park.
Alligator Soul
An underground, elegant dining experience that can’t be missed! Alligator Soul is a favorite among Savannah locals and provides such unique cuisine. If you’re an adventurous eater, this is the place for you. Every night, they serve a different unique exotic specialty, including elk, kangaroo, and even ostrich!
Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room
If you are looking for the best southern comfort food in Savannah, you can find it right here. Mrs. Wilkes’ provides a unique dining experience where you sit at a 10 person table and share a meal with strangers. While the line outside can look daunting, it is definitely worth the wait. Around the old boarding house, you can find countless photos and newspaper articles detailing the restaurant’s rich history.
Starland/Thomas Square
Thomas Square/Starland has become the hottest, hippest neighborhood in Savannah. Revitalization and a well organized, long established neighborhood association have added great structure to the existing neighborhood fabric.
Elizabeth’s on 37th
A 1900s mansion-turned-restaurant, Elizabeth’s is a must-try date night spot. Known for its phenomenal service and incredible food, Elizabeth’s is a favorite special-occasion restaurant among locals. If you’re a fan of southern coastal cuisine, this is the place for you!
The Vault Kitchen & Market
Looking for a totally unique dining experience? Look no further than the Vault Kitchen & Market. This restaurant is located in a fully renovated bank. With incredible Asian cuisine and a beautiful atmosphere, this is a local favorite. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with art made out of old safe deposit boxes and if you’re lucky, you might get seated inside of the preserved vault!
Starland Yard
Surrounded by renovated shipping container boxes, Starland Yard is the perfect place to grab a bite and listen to live music. They feature rotating food trucks (all local to Savannah), and the permanent pizza joint Pizzeria Vittoria. With live music, various board games, and a relaxed atmosphere, Starland Yard is a really trendy and fun place to be!
Common Thread
Located on the same block of 1900s southern mansions as Elizabeth’s on 37th is a new favorite, Common Thread. This stunning restaurant features modern bites made from locally sourced ingredients. We really can’t say enough good things about Common Thread because it truly is a fan-favorite at Team Callahan.
Ardsley Park Area
Ardsley Park’s central location, its physical beauty and strong property values positions it as one of Savannah’s most desirable communities. Thanks to a strong and active neighborhood association as well other community-minded residents Ardsley regularly lands on “Best of…” lists in local publications.
Green Truck Pub
This is the best burger in Savannah, hands down. Green Truck has won countless awards for their grass-fed burgers and casual atmosphere. Everything is handmade from the patties to the ketchup, so this really is a can’t miss experience. If you’re looking for a locally sourced casual spot, this is the place for you.
Ardsley Station
This neighborhood eatery is relatively new to the Savannah restaurant scene, but has quickly become a beloved spot for both locals and tourists alike. Their food is classic American-Southern cuisine and with their extensive cocktail list, there really is something for everyone. They just recently won the “Best New Restaurant”, “Best Overall Restaurant” and “Best Waitstaff” awards from Connect Savannah.
Bella’s Italian Cafe
Bella’s is an Ardsley classic. It’s a small neighborhood Italian restaurant with a cozy and intimate feel. Their breadsticks are mouthwatering and they have some of the best homemade pizza and pasta in the city.

Flying Fish Bar & Grill
If you’re looking for casual eats with fresh, local seafood, look no further! Flying Fish has an awesome outdoor dining area, live music, and plenty of surf & turf. This is the perfect laidback spot to stop by on the way back from a day out at Tybee!
Tybee Island
Tybee Island, located approximately eighteen miles from Savannah, is a seaside community in the upper coastal region of Georgia. Sitting at the mouth of the Savannah River, the 2.7-square-mile island holds a year-round population of approximately 3,400 residents, although this population increases greatly during the summer season.

When we think about the ultimate casual dining experience in Savannah, this is it! Located right when you get onto Tybee Island, the Original Crab Shack is an experience you can’t miss. Not only is the low country boil the best in Savannah, but you can even feed alligators while waiting for your table!
AJ’s Dockside
This is a casual, waterfront restaurant with the most beautiful view of the back river sunset you can get! Known for their fried seafood, AJ’s is the perfect casual place to end a beach day and watch the sunset on their back deck.
Sundae Cafe
