If you are a brand new home owner we suggest putting a Smart Lock on every single one of your exterior doors or at minimum having the house rekeyed. You do not know who has keys to your house. There could be any number of family members, contractors, etc from previous owners who might have had keys to the house. Now that you have a Smart Lock on your doors nobody but you and your family can enter.
You are able to generate several codes and no longer have to worry about remembering keys every time you leave the house. Plus you’re able to set the door locks up so that they all have the same key (if you want to use a key, again you could just use a code).
If you are planning on selling your house these locks are great because you can create a code realtors to use for showings or for other reasons (staging, photos etc.).
