With every closing, we make a contribution to the Team Callahan Cares Fund. At the end of every month, we donate the funds collected to a local non-profit organization. This month, in honor of Pride Month, we’ve chosen to donate those funds to First City Pride Center!

About First City Pride Center

First City Pride Center is a wonderful organization centered around inclusivity and LGBTQIA+ advocacy within the Greater Savannah area. FCPC first opened their doors in 2017 as “the Savannah LGBT Center” and brought together a collection of service providers under one room in order to provide a safe space for the Savannah LGBTQIA+ community that had not been previously available. In 2020, the Savannah LGBT Center became the First City Pride Center by unifying First City Network, Savannah Pride, Jeffrey’s Place, and the Center into one organization that could better help and serve Savannah’s LGBTQIA+ community.

Their mission to be an inclusive advocacy, social, and service organization that actively works to meet the needs for safety, empowerment, education, and wellbeing of Greater Savannah’s LGBTQIA+ community.

FCPC hosts a variety of programs, including fundraisers, support groups, social groups, health services, and even book clubs. They also host some of the largest events in Savannah, including Savannah’s Pride Festival, the Stonewall Anniversary Block Party, and more!

We’re so grateful for this opportunity to give back to such an important organization. We’re huge fans of theirs and can’t wait to see what they continue to do!
